Design Thinking Ideation Tools Course
Description:
Most early-stage teams don't fail from a lack of ideas, they fail from having no method for generating and testing them fast. This course gives you a working ideation toolkit: the design thinking process that frames the problem correctly, and a set of proven techniques from de Bono's Six Thinking Hats to SCAMPER, SWOT and reverse brainstorming for turning that problem into a shortlist of genuinely new solutions. You'll finish with your own solution, SWOT and elevator pitch, not just a set of frameworks you've only seen used on someone else's case study.
Course objective:
The course aims to enable participants run a structured ideation process end to end from framing the problem through generating, stress-testing and pitching a solution using the same tools founders and product teams use to move from a start-up idea to a validated concept.
Who this is for:
- Start-up founders and early-stage teams generating their first real solution set.
- Product, innovation and R&D professionals looking for a repeatable ideation process.
- Anyone tasked with generating new solutions under real constraints of time, budget or team size.
- Facilitators who need a toolkit for running group ideation sessions.
