Creating a Change Management Plan Bundle

Description

Most changes fail because nobody planned for how people would react, not because the idea was wrong. This course shows you how to build a change management plan that people can follow. It takes you through a realistic scenario: a GP practice moving to a new online consultation and triage system. You’ll define the change, map who it affects, plan your communications, manage risk and set measures to check the change sticks. You’ll finish with a completed plan template that you can adapt for your own project.

Learning Aim

To give you the knowledge and practical tools to create, communicate and review a change management plan that keeps people engaged and delivers measurable results.

Learning objectives

This course will:

  • Explain why change plans succeed or fail, using three established models: Lewin, Kotter and ADKAR.
  • Show you how to define a change clearly by setting out the current state, the future state, the scope and the measures of success.
  • Teach you to identify stakeholders and plan how you engage with each group.
  • Walk you through each part of a change management plan using a worked example.
  • Show you how to monitor, adjust and sustain a change after go-live.
